Q) Do you supply riding hats and boots?
A) Yes we provide hats and boots, as your child progresses we recommend you obtain your own expertly fitted hat.
Q) Do you supply body protectors and gloves?
A) A range of body protectors are available. Riding gloves can be provided if you forget your own.
Q) What should I wear?
A) A long sleeved top, long trousers, clothing to suit weather conditions, and a boot or shoe that has flat sole and a low heel.
Q) Can I watch my child ride?
A) Yes, parents are more than welcome to watch their children either in our indoor gallery or outdoor school, you will need walking boots/wellies and need to be aware that conditions can be slippery in the winter.
Q) Why do I need to complete a rider registration form?
A) Registration forms allows us to obtain contact, height and weight so we can provide the right sized horse, also any medical history that may affect your riding and you riding experience, all for you own safety.
Q) How do I pay?
A) Please pay before you ride. We accept cash and cheques. Sorry but we are unable to accept debit and credit cards.
Q) What happens if the weather is bad?
A) Lessons carry on in the indoor arena and waterproof clothing allow us to continue hacking out for those who are keen, please bring your own waterproofs. However, riding may be cancelled if there is severe snow or freezing conditions.
Q) How young can you take children?
A) We can teach children from the age of 4 individually or in a small group , but recommend regular lessons from the age of 5.
Q) Is there a Maximum weight limit
A) Yes, unfortunately we can’t take pupils above 14 stone.
